So me and my main man willy J are going to do Yorkshire Three Peaks in memory of the late, great Matthew Sherridan to raise money for British Heart Foundation to support the vital work they do in regards to heart disease, in the hope that fewer people have to lose their lives too young, particularly when it potentially could have been prevented if detected and treated! And others might be saved from the devastation and grief that comes with losing a loved one. This horrible disease took my best friend and love of my life away from us, at the ripe age of 22, with his whole life, a very bright future and all the adventures we had planned now gone forever. And now his family and friends and I have to spend the rest of our lives missing him dearly. I believe largely because of his age the problem with his heart was not detected or investigated until too late and so I can't sit by and do nothing to help the fight for more awareness, and to find more effective ways of screening/treatments/a cure! I am not much of a hiker myself and after climbing Ben Nevis a couple of years ago I vowed never to attempt anything like this again, but as it was one of Matthew's great passions in life it is only a fitting tribute and way to hopefully raise some money for a worthy cause, so please give as much or as little as you can 😊💞💫 thank you in advance, means a lot x
