As some of you may know, I am doing the Great North Run on September 19th, which is half a marathon (13 miles) and by far the biggest physical challenge i will have ever done!! Those of you who know me, will know how much i love animals, especially dogs, so I am hoping to raise £500 for the RSPCA York Animal Home. They need at least £1400 every day just to keep going. They get no funding from the RSPCA and rely purely on donations. They care for lost and abandoned animals who's owners have given up on them. This is something which is very close to my heart and is inspiring me to complete the Great North Run.

I know money is tight for everyone at the moment, and every little bit you can give will really make a massive difference to the York Home and to inspire me to complete my challenge.
