Story
For people who know me, I have quite long hair, I think longer then what I realise. It is nearly always up because when down the wind will catch it and it will knot up. It is heavy on my head, takes a long time to dry and style in general. Instead of just having it chopped off I heard about the Little Princess Trust and thought what a great way to be able to return something.
This fundraising event is in loving memory of Alicia Robinson who sadly lost her coragious battle she fought everyday with a smile at just aged 9. We all know someone who has suffered with cancer, but this trust gives a little something back.
The hair that is donated is used to make wigs for the children, although this costs a fair amount of money. With this I am trying to raise as much awareness and money for them as possible, so any donation is welcome.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
