We are cycling from lands end to John o'Groats, approximately 1'000 miles (1'600km).

This is a personal challenge for us 2 as we have had children, on the late side of 30s, and are beginning to, let's just say be on the cuddly side of things.

Why Motor Neurone Disease?? 

MND was chosen as the benefitting charity as it is close to Nathan's Heart, Nathans mum Mandy battled with MND for the best part of 5 years and unfortunately died from this incurable disease at the start of year 2000 after putting up an admirable fight

MND Jersey was a massive help to the whole family during this time, providing support and much need equipment to assist with making Mandy's life that little bit easier during what can only be described as a very difficult and upsetting period.

In addition to medical equipment MND Jersey even organised and financed a holiday to Disneyworld in Florida  to help mandy achieve one of her lifelong dreams of taking her children to this amazing place.

After realising the importance of having a group like MND Jersey by your side during these difficult times Nathan and Darren would like to raise as much money as possible to help MND Jersey continue there amazing efforts supporting families to fight against this devastating disease.
