On the 14th of May myself, my brother Josh and 6 good friends are attempting the National Three Peaks challenge to raise money and awareness for Huntington’s Disease. The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to summit the highest peaks in Scotland, England & Wales in 24 hours. We’ll be starting at Ben Nevis, climbing Scafell Pike in the dark and finishing at the top of Snowden. We’ll be walking approx 23 miles, accenting 10,000 ft and travelling 462 miles between the peaks, all in 24 hours (all being well 🤞)

Huntington’s Disease is an incurable, hereditary and degenerative brain disorder. It has been compared to both Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Huntington's has a place in our family, as our Dad, Phil, sadly carries this hereditary disease. Those carrying the faulty gene have a 50% chance of passing it on to their children meaning myself & Josh have a 50/50 risk of developing Huntington's disease also.

All money raised will be going to The Huntington's Disease Association which supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's Disease across England and Wales. The money raised will allow them to pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness, and promote research towards better treatment and care.
