As you'll no doubt know by now, I run many events in the Lake District and each one has it's local charity partner so I've never felt the need to try to raise money personally.
However, I'm running the Seven Hills of Edinburgh (http://www.seven-hills.org.uk/) (which is the toughest run I've ever done!) on June 17th and as there is no associated charity I thought I'd do something myself!
The Paget’s Association (http://www.paget.org.uk/information-support/pagets-disease/) also known as the National Association for the Relief of Paget’s Disease, is the only UK charity to focus solely on Paget’s Disease of Bone. This is a disease that affects my family (my mum being one sufferer) and some of us are also involved in long term drug trials.
This is a small charity so ANY amount would be very gratefully received.
Thank you very much.
