Hello there, and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running a 1/2 marathon down in London in October for a very worthy cause indeed, the The Joshua Hayday Helping Hands Trust (http://www.joshuahaydaytrust.org/). It's a charity that's very close to some good friends of mine and I'm honoured to be raising money for them. The trust helps families to care for children, like Joshua, with life-limiting conditions, so every pound you donate will be incredibly valuable to the children it goes to help. Please click on the links on this page for more information.
I’ll admit that I have run a couple of ½ marathons before but have been tempted out of semi-retirement in order to a) raise money for this fantastic charity and b) settle an old score against another runner who beat me by a measly minute last time out. I'll leave it for you to decide which was the more persuasive factor.
I'm sure most of you have used or heard of JustGiving before so I won't go into the details here. Suffice to say all the money goes where it should and that ticking the GiftAid box is definitely the way to go.
