Story

To mark the 10 anniversary of their father’s stroke James (23), Will (21) and Pete (19) are undertaking a 200 mile sponsored cycle ride from Barrow in Furness to Low Newton in Northumberland to raise funds for The Stroke Association.

The ride will take three days and starts on the west coast at Barrow in Furness and goes through the Lake District before joining the Coast to Coast route near Keswick. They will then follow the C2C route to Tynemouth before joining the Coast and Castles route up the Northumbrian coast to Low Newton a small village on the coast near Alnwick. The route has been planned to go through three villages which are very special to the family; Elterwater in the Langdale Valley, their home village of Ponteland and Low Newton.

On the second day the boys will be met in Hexham by many family and friends who will join them to cycle on to Ponteland.
