I am the Race Director for the Standalone 10k. The great community event is in its 30th year and to help celebrate we are trying to raise as much money for the Hospice as we can.

The Hospice has touched many people. I have lost  some very good friends who were cared for by the Hospice. The fantastic and loving care they received from the staff at the Hospice was just incredible.

So, I want to be able to give something back. My Club is pledging funds from the race and I ask that all runners in the race donate a small amount because in that way we can give the Hospice a lot.
