Fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Story
We wanted to let you know about a fundraiser for Bowel Cancer UK and involvement project for The Little Princess Trust we’re taking on.
Some of you may know that I (Jenny) was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer about a month ago. But before any of this happened I was chatting to Nia (age 6) and Cora (age 4) about cutting our hair and donating it to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for young children with cancer.
Then came the cancer diagnosis which has shaken our whole family. So Nia and Cora have now decided to cut her hair and donate it, but also to ask people to sponsor them to do this to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
We would love your help and you can help in one of four ways:

- Finally, if you have any other fundraising ideas let us know and we can get something else set up too e.g if you’re a boy and don’t want to grow your hair really long you could have a sponsored head shave instead!
We thought the summer holidays might be a really good time for people to let their hair grow and maybe have a cut September time if it’s long enough.
