Story
In 2016 we needed to make adaptations to our house for our son Samuel who suffers from brain abnormality and epilepsy, the adaptations included a downstairs wet room that we wouldn't have been able to afford, due to the costs of other construction work. After speaking to SSAFA Peterborough about the situation we were in, they said they were more than happy to help us and straight away got to work with other military charities in order to help raise the money we needed, in the end they managed to raise the full £10,000 that was required and our son Samuel now has a wet room downstairs to make his life and ours a lot easier, we cannot thank SSAFA enough and this for me, is a small way of starting to pay back that support.
