I cannot actually believe I am doing this but here goes! 

I have decided that with this being the year I turn 40! I am going to enter and run the Great North Run 2018. This is a massive goal for me as I am extremely new to running long distance. I do not find running easy at all but in the short time I have been doing it-the feeling of accomplishment after a run really does outway anything else. 

There was never going to be any other charity to choose than Eden Valley Hospice. The Hospice provided exceptional care for my Dad back in 2005. He was admitted there for the last ten days of his life, following a five year battle with cancer and sadly lost his brave fight on Christmas Day surrounded by us all - his loving family. We can never forget the care and compassion the staff at Eden Valley Hospice provided  for both my Dad and our family and the Hospice will always remain a very special place to us all. 

So-it's time! Time to raise money for an amazing charity extremely close to our hearts by doing something completely out of my comfort zone! I have a lot of training to do but anything is possible in life if you put your mind to it!
