7 years ago on the 4th March I lost my Mum to cancer. After a long , hard battle, cancer won the fight in the end. It is time we reverse this trend- too many people are taken too soon and leave family behind.

This is why I work for Cancer Research UK- I get to see and hear first hand about the amazing work being done to stop cancer in its tracks. Now, I have the chance to trek to Everest Base Camp with a group of fabulous people from Tesco. Those of you who know me will appreciate that you can't get much further from my comfort zone than this! Far too much exercise and energy required! However, the fight against cancer is a challenge and it needs people to rise to it ever day.
