The Citizens Foundation is a Pakistani organisation that has been working in the field of education for 15 years and was also active in the earthquake relief.  They are currently organising a extensive flood-relief effort across the affected areas of Pakistan, distributing essential food items, medicines and clean drinking water, using their network of 660 schools across the country as centres for those who have been displaced by this disaster.  

A group of us are organising a 5k run/walk in Cannon Hill Park on the 12th of September at 11 am.  You are welcome to sprint, jog, walk, stroll, meander through the park in order to raise funds and express solidarity with those people who have been affected by and are working diligently to overcome this tragedy.  If you are unable to participate, please consider donating to those people who are.  The people of Pakistan need all the support they can get right now!
