Story
Given COVID-19 and the sad passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the DofE charity are more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.
Young people are facing unprecedented challenges, making the DofE more relevant and important than ever. It helps them emotionally and physically. The DofE builds the character and attitude that research shows businesses prioritise over academic results.
As an active DofE volunteer, supervising and assessing young people as part of their Expedition at Bronze and Silver Awards, I am raising funds, by attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt. Snowdon - all in 24 hours with my colleagues at London Biggin Hill Airport), for the DofE charity so it can continue to offer the amazing DofE programme.
Your donation will make a difference to young lives in the UK today and tomorrow.
Thank you!
