This summer I shall once again be going out to Jinja, Uganda, to volunteer with the charity Soft Power Education. Last June, I and 24 other Aston students worked for one month to help build two primary schools in remote locations of Jinja District.
Last year's trip really brought home to me the value of the work we do and none of that would have been possible without your help. All money donated will go directly to the projects we are working on this year, which is to help build three primary schools for a month.
Soft Power Education do a fantastic job in bringing education to as many school children in Uganda as possible. They also work closely with the Ugandan Government in helping them to meet their Millennium Development Goals of providing free universal primary education.
I would really appreciate your generosity once more in order to continue this fantastic work. Remember, all money raised goes directly to the projects we are working on and so you can see the tangible rewards of your donation. Therefore, please dig deep and donate what you can!
