East Anglian Air Ambulance provides advanced critical care 24/7 to the most seriously ill and injured people in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire by air and road. Each tasking costs on average £4,250 and, with no regular government funding, we rely almost entirely on public support.

Story

In June 2018, Steve Jones, the current president of Norwich Last Stand was seriously injured following a motorcycle accident in rural North Norfolk. Steve had suffered such horrific injuries that if it were not for the combined efforts of the East of England Ambulance Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance, he would not have survived.

Thankfully, and on a much lighter note, Steve is a Necron Overlord, and so was able to reanimate (yes, he did roll many 5s and 6s when in hospital too!) but it remains to be said, that without EAAA he would not be here today. You can read more about Steve’s story on the EAAA website at: https://www.eaaa.org.uk/our-work/our-patients/steve-jones

On Saturday 3rd August 2019, we hosted a Warhammer 40,000 doubles event to both raise greater awareness of the life saving work that EAAA do, as well as to help raise funds for them do so 24/7 from their Norwich base. This was done in collaboration with other clubs, venues and local businesses. The EAAA is a local treasure and we also seek to galvanise greater support from the East Anglian tabletop community too. For more information, please see https://norwichlaststand.com/eaaa-40k.html

Anyone can help us fund raise for the local treasure that is EAAA. If you are are a UK tax payer, please do consider adding Gift Aid as it doesn't cost you anything extra either.
