Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's been a while since we've taken on a big challenge. Last time was Lands End to John O Groats in just nine days on the tandem. This time we'll follow in Mark Beaumont's tyre tracks and take on some of the toughest hills in the UK - by taking on the 500 miles of the Northern Highlands of Scotland coast - in just five days.
This is one of Britain's toughest cycle routes with over 40,000ft of climbing - including the legendary Bealach-Na-Ba climb, which is listed in the top 10 toughest in the UK.
We are doing all of this to support ProjectScotland - a charity for which I have the pleasure of being involved in every day. ProjectScotland helps support young people right throughout Scotland to achieve their ambitions and goals. We help those lacking skills and confidence to develop through volunteering with their local communities - they get full support from our team and a volunteer mentor. In the last ten years we've helped over 5000 young people - who in turn have contributed over 3 million hours of volunteering to communities and causes right across Scotland.
Your help to support Scotland's young people to make a difference in their community whilst developing their skills will be most welcome!
