Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Over 7 days, beginning Monday 27th April and finishing Sunday 3rd May, Newcastle University Women's Football Club are going to take on the challenge of collectively running the distance from St James Park to Wembley Stadium (447km) over a period of 7 days to raise money for Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS charity (incorporating the Sir Bobby Robson and Great North Children’s Hospital Foundations). The Newcastle Hospitals NHS Charity is the official Charity supporting the work of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the umbrella for over 500 charitable funds, each supporting every ward, unit, department and specialty right across the Trust. Now more than ever, we recognise the amazing work of NHS staff working tirelessly and selflessly to save lives and keep us all safe.

This is such an important cause and one that is close to all of us studying and living in Newcastle. This is going to be a whole club effort, including current players and alumni, who are all a part of our football family.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to get us motivated and out running!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for the support,
