On Friday 3rd July all Oaklands students took part in one event of their choosing. The event was organised and run by staff and Oaklands Sixth Formers.
Students and staff baked brownies, biscuits and cupcakes, played board-games and computer games, danced and Zumba-ed, took part in Silly Olympics, played a giant football tournament, creating stunning works of art depicting each of the Saints for whom our buildings are named, read or wrote poems and stories to generate funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Visit our website next week for all of the photos or look in Portsmouth News (website or Saturday/Monday's paper) for a glimpse of the fun we all had.
We have done this in celebration of the many Oaklands students past and present who have been or who are still affected by cancers.
