Greetings fellow supporters!

For the past three months we have been watching our best friend and her partner ride out an emotional roller-coaster after their gorgeous baby girl made a surprise early entrance into the world, then went on to develop heart problems.

 We have spent many an evening in Southampton visiting at Princess Anne Neonatal ward, Ronald Mcdonald House and the General Hospital's Ocean Ward. 

We have stayed till the early hours of the morning watching the staff work their socks off and seeing other families sitting by the beds of their poorly children. It's heartbreaking to see and it's a different side of life that many people out in the 'real world' don't realise is going on. 

We've wished, hoped, prayed and even donated blood, but we still wanted to do more....

One morning, after waking up looking particularly rough, I wanted to make our friend smile. So I took a selfie of myself in all my roughness and sent it to the group we have going.

Cue "Put that as your Facebook profile pic for the weekend and I'll donate £20 to charity!"

Challenge accepted :)

The money raised will go directly towards the Ocean Ward to help with their fundraising campaign to get WiFi and TVs for the children's bedsides.
