Story

Thank you for visiting the Our Lady Immaculate Tolworth's Lenten Project 2019 Just Giving page. This year, over the weekend of 16 / 17 March, the Tolworth Trekkers are embarking on another epic 86 km (54 mile!!!) walk to raise money for the Lenten Project. On Saturday 16 March, we will walk from OLI Church over the Surrey Hills to Worth Abbey, Crawley. Then, on Sunday 17 March, we will retrace our steps, aiming to get back to Tolworth in time for Sunday Mass. In addition, the Tolworth Tornadoes have reformed and, led by Fr Ignatius, will cycle from OLI Church to Worth Abbey (and back) on Sunday 17 March.

The four charities being supported this year are ;

The Indian Dioscese of Nellore - urgent chapel repairs. The two chapels cover 4 villages.

The St Joseph's Boys Hostel  in Sri Lanka - support for new livestock and a vegetable garden to provide an additional source of food and income to support the boys.

The St Kizito Primary School in Buwoola, Uganda - essential flooring to help avoid spread of parasitic fleas which can lead to irritation and infection.

The Daughters of Divine Love in Nigeria - services for vulnerable pregnant teenage mothers and their babies.
