My story: My grandma was  diagnosed last year with mesothelioma - a rare, asbestos caused cancer. As she was retiring from work, she was found to be short of breath when walking around- my mum managed to pick up on symptoms early and get her checked out and it was found that she had mesothelioma. Since then she has had chemotherapy and is doing well! But she is one of the lucky ones that managed to pick up on symptoms early! This is a very under represented form of cancer due to asbestos no longer being implemented as building installation in the work place - however, it is still causing serious health problems, therefore help is needed to make people aware!

My friends have very kindly offered to run the 10k alongside me to raise awareness and money for the cause! Any donations would be very much appreciated and please share this page to raise awareness as much as we can!
