Hello! Please sponsor me in Manchester’s “Glow in the Park 5K” on the 26th of October 2019. I am raising money for ‘Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’ as it is an outstanding charity very close to my heart.
I was born with a condition called papilloma virus, in scientific terms,(a benign epithelial tumour growing exophytically). This caused me to spend a lot of time in hospital (wythenshawe’s starlight ward) and have had over 10 operations. Unfortunately there was a complication with my ninth operation which led me to be in critical care unit where I feared my life.
Thanks to the hospital, I recovered and am fighting fit today, not owning the condition. I felt so safe, stable and comfortable in the hospital and feel this is a way for me to thank them for all they have done for me. They have shaped me into the person I am now and fear without there help I wouldn’t be here today. I am ever so grateful and have decided to do this as a sign of appreciation and love I have for this hospital.
The condition I had is nothing compared to the severe cases they face each day and have so much admiration for the work and miracles they have performed on many children. With it being there 10th anniversary feel it’s the perfect time to fundraiser for this amazing charity.

If you know me you will know how how much I hate running and this would usually be my idea of hell but wanted to take on a challenge where I push myself, so felt I might as well jump in at the deep end to raise as much money as possible. Thankyouuu, please donate anything you can, really means a whole lot! XoxX
