Halloween at Highcroft 2020
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
It's that time of year again to start dressing up the garden for our annual Halloween makeover at HighCroft Villas. After what can only be described as a ‘shitty’ year, we are not letting COVID get in the way of some Halloween fun.
As most of you already know we have been dressing up our garden and collecting donations over the years and thanks to everyone's kind generosity have raised nearly ten thousand pounds for different charities.
Last year was our biggest yet, We smashed our target of 3000 pounds and all money raised went to Macmillan.
As a result we were contacted by Josh Munns head of fundraising in the south east region and he personally thanked us for our efforts and told us where the money was being spent, he also turned up and provided us with fundraising items from Macmillan.
We have decided to stay with Macmillan this year. Like us, I’m sure many of you will have been touched by cancer is one way or another. Although the research is important, the support, time, love, companionship and empathy these guys give to those directly effected and their family and friends is truly amazing.

*DUE TO THE CONTINUED EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC WE ARE CURRENTLY FACING, IT HAS BEEN DECIDED WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT WE WILL NOT BE ALLOWING ANYONE IN THE GARDEN ON HALLOWEEN. THIS IS FOR EVERYONES SAFETY. THE HOUSE AND GARDEN WILL STILL BE DECORATED WEEKS BEFORE HALLOWEEN AND LIT UP FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THOSE PASSING BY.
