Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page! I know you're busy & I really appreciate it.

My goal is to raise £4219.50 for Macmillan Cancer Support by rowing a million metres on an indoor rowing machine. I will finish the million with a marathon (42195 m) on Sunday 21st December 2014.

Macmillan nurses have been hugely supportive to my parents in recent years. This is my small way of thanking them. My Dad has had 3 types of cancer (Breast, Bowel & Skin). My Mum had Lymphoma in 2012 - 2013 & died 21st December 2013. As a family we have been reassured, advised and helped by Macmillan through this journey & we are truly grateful.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thank you so much for your time & support,

PS In case you're wondering.... In the 2012 - 2013 season 2 ladies in my age group 40 - 49 (Hwt)  posted a Concept 2 marathon row in Great Britain,  in 2013 - 2014 it was just 5! Worldwide it was 10 & 31 respectively. This is a huge challenge - but I'm excited! :-)
