Hi, as most for you know I lost my mum to ovarian cancer on 29/06/17.

My mum (sadie) spent her final days in the MacMillan unit in Antrim Area Hospital, and to say this is an outstanding facility is an understatement. From all volunteers who worked there right up to the specialists they made my mums final days as painless and peaceful as possible, and for that I will be forever grateful.

From then I've always wanted to do something to raise a few pounds in honor of my mum and to help this facility in its fight against this deadly disease that has affected nearly everyone in one way or another, whether personally, a family member or even a friend.

So on 26/06/21 I am going to take on the challenge of the Mourne wall covering up to 22 miles and crossing over 15 mountains all in one day.

To the experienced mountain climber this is no mean feat, but to a novice like me it's a massive challenge, but one I know I can complete with enough training.

If people out there can and have beat cancer well this should be easy in comparison.

Im aiming on raising £500 for this charity and will use every bit of power I have in reaching this target, calling on all my friends, family and local businesses to help me along the way.
