As many of you will know, I HATE running therefore this is a real challenge. However I love cheese and if I want to eat cheese some exercise is needed and I love rivers so running for rivers makes it almost bearable.

For me rivers are amazing, rivers make me smile. A walk (or now run) along a river lifts my spirits and makes everything almost OK again. This year has not been easy and this is my way of making it better. If you would like to help me by donating whatever you can to help me and encourage me along my way I will be forever grateful.

Sea trout are wonderful creatures that require clean and accessible rivers and the Ouse & Adur Rivers Trust are try to provide this.The River Ouse and the River Adur are beautiful rivers that the sea trout spawn in. It is amazing to see a sea trout leaping up a rocky waterfall, to think that these creatures spend years at sea to then return to our rivers. We owe it to them to make sure the rivers are clean and accessible for them on their return.

Taking a walk along the River Adur is beautiful and right now we need that space and time to think and reflect. Walking along the River ouse and seeing a heron or kingfisher, is there anything more inspiring?
