Wales Air Ambulance Charity is funded by the people of Wales and requires £6.5 million a year to keep its four helicopters in the sky, serving Wales and saving lives. The charity can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes, its doctors and medics fly the A&E deptartment to the patient.It also runs the Children's Wales Air Ambulance service, transferring vulnerable babies and children to the specialist hospitals across the UK.Your donations will help keep this vital service in Wales.

The average day for sheep shearing is 8 hours, consisting of four 2 hour runs, with breaks in between, when thinking what I could do to raise money for this incredible charity i wanted to push myself to the limits and that’s what I have taken on the challenge of shearing three 8 hour days consecutively straight through, the event will start at 12:00pm on Friday the 14th June and finishing at 6:30pm on Saturday 15th June, yes that’s 30 1/2 hours straight through giving me 24 hours of shearing with 6 1/2 hours break throughout. To put this into perspective, my body will use the same amount of energy as it would to run 3 marathons non stop. 

This amazing charity and the crews that work for them 365 days of the year push themselves  to the limit every day and that’s why I want to be able to raise £6000 for them. With 1 helicopter mission costing £1500, £6000 could potentially save 4 life’s, and we never know when or who might need this outstanding service from these incredibly brave and professional people.
