Lack of access to pipe borne water supply or clean drinking water is a major problem in many parts of Africa. Women and children, at the cost of family care and education, have to walk for miles to fetch water for domestic consumption. In partnership with Humanity First, the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK is raising funds to install water wells in such communities thereby reducing disease and premature deaths that occur due to the lack of availability to safe drinking water.
