Story

We are two doctors planning a yearlong bicycle trip from London to Cape Town, down the Eastern length of Africa. Through this project, we aim to increase awareness of the extreme insufficiency of health workers in a continent that suffers one of the greatest burdens of disease in the world. In the hope of making a sustainable and durable difference, we plan to raise money towards the training of healthcare workers in Kenya through the OGRA foundation and ISMAT (International School of Medicine and Applied Technology). Both are local, homegrown organizations, which we hope will ensure the sustainability of their solution to health issues in Kenya.

Our cycle will involve more than 16000 miles of "variable" roads and a years worth of sweat and sore backsides - we hope that you will support our efforts with generous contributions!! It is all hugely appreciated.
