Ciaran Byrne is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association
In memory of Patrick Cassidy

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm raising money for the Northern Ireland Branch of the MND Association.

I have set up this page in memory of my dad, Pat Cassidy who lost his battle to this disease a few years ago. We are going to be doing a sponsored walk to the Hidden Village in Carnlough on the 13th May 2017, which is the day before his birthday .

In the full year last year we raised almost £8000 for the charity, so we hope to raise a large amount again this year through this walk, quiz nights, pool competition and presentation night with the help of St Malachys College Old Boys Association.

Any and all donations are much appreciated, and will go directly to the Motor Neurone Disease Assocation within Northern Ireland. This will  help others with the same disease, and to assist in the research to finding a cure going forward.
