We're walking the 13 miles from Wandsworth to Wapping to raise money to support the amazing work of the Good Counsel Network.

For those who do not know, the Good Counsel Network reaches out to women in desperate need of support who would otherwise feel they had no other option than to have an abortion.

This life-affirming women's organisation offers free pregnancy tests, advice, medical infomation, practical help and moral support. They offer alternatives to women who would otherwise be seeking an abortion and provide practical help as well as moral support to mothers in crisis pregancies both during the pregnancy and after the birth.

Practial help can include finding accomodation and/or paying rent, providing food, nappies, baby necessities (prams, cots, clothes) and medical care for women who are not eligible for NHS treatment.

The Good Counsel Network deals with the hardest cases of crisis pregnancy on a daily basis. Their centres are open to all women regardless of age, background, nationality or belief.
