Story
Having run The Great North Run for the last 7 years I needed to set myself a new challenge.
I turned 45 today - 26 January 2019 - and so have decided on a personal challenge to run 1000 miles before I turn 46. That averages out at just short of 3 miles each day for the next year.
I’m hoping to be joined by a few people on the way and opened up with my first 4 miles earlier today with the wifey - only another 996 to go!
To motivate me to do this I’m looking to raise £1000 sponsorship for a local charity that I have supported for many years - The Prince of Wales Hospice , is a fantastic organisation that supports patients and their families and at the end of life. If you could support me with just a little this would be very much appreciated.
