Most of you are already aware of my son Ernie's story.
I have amazingly managed to secure a place on the London Marathon in April running with the CHECT team.
CHECT is a charity close to mine and my family’s heart. They do wonderful work in supporting children going through this life altering process, and I feel that it is a great and once in a lifetime opportunity to support CHECT further.
I am aware lots of people generously donated to my Justgiving page in September when I did the Tough Mudder, however if anyone missed out on donating last time or would like to do so again any contributions will be gratefully received to achieve my target of £2,000.
In February we received the devastating news that our baby son Ernie had Retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. Sadly, he had to undergo surgery to have his right eye removed, however he has thankfully made a full recovery and had been given the all clear.
