The reason I am attempting this challenging task is in memory of our very special brother Paul. Paul had Down Syndrome and like most people with this condition he showered everyone he knew with love and affection. After his birth Paul's life expectancy was placed at around three years but we were all blessed by the fact that he spent 41 great years with us. His impact on our family and community who made him feel so welcome was immeasurable and although a light has gone out,  our lives are still illuminated with some glorious memories of a very special human being. This event and night after it is a chance to remember a brother, son, uncle, friend and a genuine character who touched so many in a full but all too short time with us.
