On May 22nd, a group of staff from Pure Innovations will be undertaking the Great Manchester Run.
Pure innovations is a not for profit charity promoting independent lifestyles supporting people with a disability and disadvantaged groups.
We will be running as a team to promote the fantastic work we undertake within our communities; from Art to Zumba sessions, cafe's, supported internships and other projects, all accessible by our clients. 
As all our income goes into supporting people in our communities to develop their sense of purpose and belonging, the aim of our fundraising is to raise additional funds with which to buy defibrillators which will be placed in some of our projects where they will do the most good for the community as a whole.

The survival rate for someone suffering a sudden cardiac arrest decreases by 10% every minute. Using a defibrillator, whilst you wait for the emergency services to arrive, will more than likely save a life.

Some of our projects and cafe's are in locations where access to defibrillators is limited but footfall is significant. To have a unit to hand will, should the need ever arise, increase someone's survival rate significantly.
