Being diagnosed with cancer is bad enough. To have been going through other tough emotional times too was even tougher. I was put in touch with the Fountain Centre and was immediately impressed and calmed by this little haven surrounded by the huge bustling hospital. I was privileged to have lots of therapies which helped me in so many ways to come to terms with what was happening in my life.  Everyone from the therapists who offer their time and services free to the reception volunteers who bring you cups of tea with a smile all give their time freely and I am deeply indebted to them all.  

The Fountain Centre is a charity and needs donations in order to operate  

In 2016 I took part in a fashion show to raise money but this year I am really pushing the boundaries..... I have a MASSIVE fear of heights so in order for you all to dig deep and help support this amazing charity I am going to abseil off the top of Guildford Cathedral on 19th May! 🤪

It would mean so much to me and the charity if you could donate as little or as much as you can (don’t forget to gift aid) and  if possible could you like and share this on your Facebook page to spread the word and make as much money as we can. With 1 in 2 of us now facing a diagnosis of cancer we need The Fountain Centre to support us and our families.  It’s an amazing place for patients and their families.
