Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are passionate advocates of Guide Dogs and take every opportunity to support their tireless efforts to improve the lives of people who are visually impaired by giving them back their confidence and independence.

Guide Dogs research and campaigning helps to improve the rights of people who are visually impaired and educates the public about eye care. They also fund eye care research, and all this is done with no government funding!

They rely solely on donations from individuals and, with over 4,700 guide dog partnerships in the UK and another person losing their sight every hour, they need all the help that they can get!

On the 22nd February 2018 we will be taking part in the Dogs Unite 'Walking the Dog Day' to raise awareness and funds for Guide Dogs. We'll be in fancy dress in order to attract lots of attention on the day, and hopefully convince a few more people to donate to this amazing charity!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
