I have been a trustee of Paz y Esperanza (Peace and Hope) UK for nearly three years. PyE is a Christian human rights organisation dedicated to defending and promoting justice on behalf of people and communities living in poverty or affected by injustice in Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.

PyE will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on 19th January. I will be celebrating my birthday two days later so I thought that I would mark the anniversary by asking for donations instead of any gifts you might have bought. All donations are very welcome and will go towards the amazing work PyE does, including tackling domestic violence and promoting the rights of indigenous people.
