Firstly, and most importantly, we want to state that all funds, whether donated online or received in person will be donated directly to charity, we have booked and paid for our own transport, accommodation and will also be personally covering all other expenses. Bottom line, all the money raised goes to Pieta House.

Our names are Darragh, Daniel and David and on the 30th of August we fly to Marseille with our bikes and begin a 1400 km unsupported cycle in aid of Pieta House across France to arrive home to Dublin on the 10th of September. Along the way, we will take on the ‘Beast of Provence’ Mont Ventoux! At 1912 m it is one of cycling's most formidable and famous climbs, featuring numerous times in The Tour de France and then head west through Bordeaux and along the coast to Roscoff.

The trip was initially conceived as a Holiday (strange kind of holiday – maybe we should get out more often), but as time has gone by and we’ve spoken to more people about our plans we began to realise the potential our trip has to raise vital funds for charity.

So here we are seven weeks away from beginning the trip, we've been training hard and are really looking forward to the trip. We'll update the page as often as we can with photos and videos from our training rides and fundraisers we'll be doing before the event. While we're on the trip we'll be posting our daily rides and a couple of videos to let you know how we're getting on and hopefully convince you to donate.
