Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Richard Smith and I'm an extreme endurance athlete who takes on a new challenge every year to raise money for charity.

After last years successful challenge which saw me set off running to London on the Monday, arriving on the Saturday and then completing the London Marathon on the Sunday, raising £5k for The Royal British Legion.......2017 brings even more excitement!

On Monday 3 July 2017 I will leave Lands End on my journey up to John O Groats attempting to be the fastest person to complete the route on a penny farthing all in aid of Children In Need. There currently is a record held by George Pilkington Mills at an astonishing 5 days, 1 hour and 45 minutes which was set 131 years ago!
