Charity Registration No. 1123313

Dear friends of Barry,

In lieu of flowers for Barry, we have chosen the charity Sported for any donations. A local charity close to Barry and our hearts whose fantastic work represents all that Barry tried to bring to his time working and playing sport.

Sported was formed as part of the 2012 legacy. They work with community sports clubs and sports projects who are helping disadvantaged children develop through sport. Through mentor ship they give them the tools to run effectively and make the most of their resources.

Throughout Barry's working life he ensured that sporting organisations at all levels were run well and properly funded. It was something he was passionate about, along with sport itself, and we are sure he would wholeheartedly support the work of the charity.

For those who share Barry's love of technology, you can put your donation in the box for us the pass on. Or you can donate online at We ask that you would please leave a message honouring the donation in Barry's memory, even if you choose to remain anonymous."

Of course any funny stories, memories and photos of Barry will be warmly welcomed.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for Barry.

Take care.

Sue, Leigh, Verity, Naiomi and Aiden
