I'm going to walk from my home in Uphall to St Andrews - 50 miles in 18 hours - to raise money for JAM and other charities. I was inspired when I heard the story of how JAM started 30 years ago and I believe they have one of the best and most cost-effective ways of helping some very poor children and communities in South Africa, Mozambique and Angola. In this day and age children should not be dying of starvation and they should have access to education.
