Since 2011, humanitarian charity RedR has been supporting the global humanitarian crisis in Syria and the surrounding region. The number of Syrian refugees fleeing to neighbouring countries, including Jordan, is well over four million. To offer support, RedR is actively training and equipping agencies in Jordan, such as Unicef and Oxfam, with skills to adequately assist the refugees when they arrive.

I will be completing a once in a lifetime trek across the Jordanian desert to Petra, to raise awareness of the difficulties that Syrian refugees encounter and to raise vital funds to support their humanitarian work.

I will also be completing a 12mile tough mudder event in September and hosting fundraising events throughout the summer.
