Update 11 July: well, we nearly made it. Thanks to some amazing support along the way Dave clocked 60 miles on Saturday and I decided to stop at Barbury Castle, 6 miles short of the official end.

I can thoroughly recommend the Ridgeway - a beautiful trail through some of England's best countryside; just take your time and do it gently, maybe take a week...
