After suffering with progressively ill health over the past few years, our father, Eric Brackstone, sadly passed away on the 13th January, 2018.

Dad suffered with a number of ailments but they all contributed to a chronic kidney condition, which finally took him.

Throughout Dad's life, he always demonstrated a sense of humour and warmth that generated towards a good atmosphere whenever he met people. Dad has now left a family and vast number of friends, who shall remember him as a nice chap, always approachable and never short of a subject to discuss. 

Dad would have been happy for donations to go to this charity in his memory, as the hospital staff to a person did a magnificent job in prolonging his life, with an ever changing concoction of medication over many years. 

Finally, the entire families associated with Dad would like to extend their sincere thanks to you all for your kind donations to this charity, Kidney Research UK, on his behalf. This will hopefully have a positive effect on people suffering with this illness in the future and ultimately, one day, provide adequate remedies.
