Did you know that heart and circulatory disease continues to be the UK's biggest killer, causing around 200,000 deaths a year? The money raised is used by Wessex Heart Beat not only to provide support to children, adults and their loved ones at the Wessex Cardiac Centre at Southampton General but also to purchase revolutionary and specialist equipment, fund research and educational projects and also develop preventative outreach projects such as 'Your Healthy Heart'.

 

On 19th June 2010, Southampton Poppies Netball Club will be undertaking the challenge of Dragon Boat Racing at Southampton's Mayflower Park. Our aim is to raise £1500 for Wessex Heart Beat, so please dig deep and help us reach our goal!
