This will be the second running of Poppy's Santa Run and this year we really want it to be just that, a proper Santa Run!  Dressing up is very much encouraged but of course it is not a requirement to take part in the event. 

The main reason for the focus on dressing up is that we believe having hundreds of Santa's running around the streets of Larne will do wonders for raising the profile of SANDs.  Its profile and awareness for the amazing work they do is something that is very worthy of getting all the acknowledgement possible!  Along with raising the profile of SANDs we will hopefully also be raising some cash for SANDs along the way.

We have set up the online donation page to give people the opportunity to donate before or after the event.  Last year one of the main things that caused a bottle neck in getting people in through the door was the donation forms.  Many people wanted to ensure that they were also giving gift aid with their donation and for this to happen we had to take names and addresses.  This year we hope that many of those people can simply make there donations using this page to help ease to process on the day.  With that in mind, will will most likely not be worrying about gift aid on the day and simply using donation buckets at the door.
