Travels To My Elephant · 15 February 2016

Massive habitat loss over the past 100 years has wiped out 50% of Asia's wild elephant population, along with the vital ecosystems they used to support. Elephant Family exists to save this iconic animal from extinction by securing vital habitat and reducing conflict with local communities.

Story

We admire elephants in part because they demonstrate what we consider the finest human traits: empathy, self-awareness, and social intelligence. But the way we treat them puts on display the very worst of human behaviour. Grayson Carter

We party, we travel, we have fun, we enjoy the expat lifestyle in Asia. Now you can carry on with all of the above, feel good and give something back.

Donate  £10 and you will receive a complimentary limited edition Elephant Family recovery pack. All the money donated here will go straight to the charity, contributing to projects across South East Asia in particular Thailand and Indonesia such as these:

The limited edition Recovery Pack containing one Awake and one Asleep Potion (all natural liquid nutritional supplement drinks for hangovers, jet lag and fatigue) was launched in September 2015 to coincide with the Travels To My Elephants Tuk Tuk race in India.

In order to hit the target to raise £10,000 by the end of 2016, we need to fundraise as well as give a share of income from sales, hence this page. Once we have hit our target, I will take a trip (under my own steam of course) to visit the people on the ground making these projects happen.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and participating, and a special thanks to #thehive and #Wonderfruit communities in Hong Kong and Bangkok for their support.
